What to Expect
This safari features a journey through two of Kenya's most iconic landscapes. From Nairobi, the route heads to Amboseli National Park for afternoon and following-day game drives with views of Mount Kilimanjaro, plus an optional Maasai village visit, before transferring to Tsavo East National Park for a final morning game drive ahead of the return to Nairobi.
Day by Day
Nairobi to Amboseli
Pick-up from Nairobi in the morning and drive south towards Amboseli, taking in scenic views of the Great Rift Valley. Check in at your lodge or camp for lunch, then an afternoon game drive exploring Amboseli's open plains and swamps, with iconic views of elephants against Mount Kilimanjaro.
Amboseli game drives
An early morning game drive to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and buffalo moving through Amboseli's unique habitats. Optional visit to a nearby Maasai village to learn about local culture, followed by an afternoon game drive for additional sightings — sunset over the savannah offers prime photography opportunities.
Transfer to Tsavo East
After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park, one of Kenya's largest and most scenic parks. Check in at your lodge or camp, then an afternoon game drive through the park's iconic red-dust plains and rocky outcrops, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of buffalo.
Final game drive & return
A morning game drive in Tsavo East for one last chance at wildlife sightings, before driving back to Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
