What to Expect
This itinerary blends gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth and Murchison Falls National Parks. The route includes an evening game drive on arrival at Murchison Falls, a morning game drive and Nile boat safari to the base of the falls, rhino tracking on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, with an optional stop at Mabamba Swamp for Shoebill birding before departure.
Day by Day
Murchison Falls transfer
A morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala, followed by a scenic 5–6-hour drive through rural landscapes to Murchison Falls National Park, with lunch en route. An evening game drive offers a chance to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly big cats.
Game drive & Nile boat safari
An early morning game drive through the park's northern section, known for its diverse wildlife. After lunch, a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where the entire river forces through a narrow 7-metre gorge, with sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. An optional hike to the Top of the Falls offers breathtaking views.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary — the only place in Uganda to see wild rhinos — for a guided walking trek to observe them safely on foot. Continue to Kampala or Entebbe with an optional stop at Mabamba Swamp for birding, including possible Shoebill sightings.

Breakfast at the hotel before transfer to Entebbe Airport for departure.
